Lorna: Hmm, this is not our area of expertise but as far as I know, you can appeal the infringement as long as you haven't paid your fine. The procedure for this depends on the state you're in so you'll have to contact the relevant authority where the infringement took place. Note that you will have to make your case in court. Good luck with that! Not fun to be without a licence!

My son received an on the spot infringement notice for doing 89 in a 80k zone (1 demerit point) which will result in him losing his license. He was travelling on a road with a 90k limit and turned into a road with no speed limit signs posted. He assumed the limit was still 90kph. Is there any grounds that we may request a review of this infringement???
Thank You

Danielle: Just think about it this way, when you visit someone's house, you've got to abide by their rules. So if you are in QLD, follow the QLD speed limits :)

I live in Victoria, i am on my P plates and was just wondering if when i go to say S.A or QLD, do i follow their road rules eg speed limit is 110 in S.A, and 100 in Victoria, or do i follow what's on my licence, eg victorian licence so victorian rules?
My friends and i are having a debate and we want to just work out the facts as we are going to be driving to S.A soon.
Thanks! :)

Arjun: Yes, it is compulsory for all children 7 years and under. For babies between 0-6 months, you'll need a rearward-facing child restraint which must be placed in the rear row. Have a read of VicRoad's child restraints section for more information.
