I just noticed that your article on credit card excess cover notes, in relation to Westpac Platinum cards, that the card covers any amount payable, not just an excess. This was, and is, not my understanding - my understanding was/is that only an excess is covered and reading the policy, it says, &quot;We will reimburse you up to A$5,500 for any excess or deductible amount which you become legally liable to pay in respect of loss or damage to a rental vehicle during the rental ...&quot;, which concurs with my understanding.</description>
