Adelaide Airport-City Public Transport

The Adelaide Airport is only 6km away from the city CBD.

  • A taxi will take you approximately 15 minutes and set you back ~A$20 one-way. If you have a party of three or more, its probably the better option
  • Skylink provides Airport-City CBD shuttles at A$8/adult one-way, taking ~25-30 minutes. They do stops at numerous city accommodation. View the service timetable and pick-up/drop-off locations
  • For any locations outside central Adelaide (more than 25km away), you can pre-book a shuttle service with Adelaide Airport Flyer. Prices start at A$47 one-way
  • Finally, you can catch the public buses operated by JetBus. The airport is serviced by routes J1, J2 (both to city centre) and J7 (to eastern suburbs). The fare to the city is A$4.40 one-way.
